Welcome to Ransom Note Gifts. I started this business May 6, 2010 and it has been a fun ride so far. I bought one of the signs over a year ago with my last name on it and loved it. In April my oldest son was getting married and I wanted to give them something unique for a wedding present.... I saw one that was done with numbers for a wedding date. So I went out on the search for the numbers, but wanted them to have meaning to them. I found a Mile 4 sign for the April(only had meaning to me... I didn't realize Thomaston ran out before 24 LOL), her dad's shop has a sign for 24 hr towing so I used the 24 from it, and the 10 was from the car tag of his new race car. It was so much fun and was such a big hit that I did another one the next weekend for a house warming present. I did her first name, but at her party I had several ask if I could do one for them..... SO, here I am. A month later and I have started my first business. It will be a learning experience I am sure, but I am loving it. My husband, Wade, came up with the name Ransom Note Gifts. We were discussing several name options and he reminded me that ransom notes in the old days were made with random letters to spell a word. Which is basically what I do. I take photos of random letters and numbers and frame them to form words and dates. The possibilities are truly endless! After we picked the name and decided to go with it, he was riding down the road (He drives alot by the way) and called excited.... We had a business saying...... "Kidnap your Imagination". I am new to blogging so bear with me on the page until I get it all figured out.
